April - New Beginnings!

Hello everyone!
April has been one wild ride, and I can't wait for you to watch the video and see glimpses of it!
A NEW HOME:
April 1st, we moved into our new base! It was originally a warehouse with some office spaces above it, then our team worked hard and fast to turn it into a home. We found great favor with the landlord, and he built us an extra shower and painted the whole place to help us out. Such a blessing!
A NEW SCHOOL:
Then week 2 of April, Music DTS (discipleship training school) students started to arrive, and we signed another 3 year contract on a smaller home nearby! Just in time to have some staff move into it and make room for the coming students.
The school has been going great. There's 10 students total, from 6 different countries, all ages from 18 to 33, and 4 of us here at the base (including me) staffing it. Each week we have a guest speaker come and teach on topics like "Hearing God's Voice", "the Nature & Character of God", "Repentance & Forgiveness", and "Worship & Intercession". These are all topics I went through on my own DTS in Perth, but I have really enjoyed diving into them again and going deeper with God. It's also amazing getting to watch the students grow each week, and have the opportunity to disciple them and guide them through their process. I had know idea, but I've learned that I really enjoy helping people walk through those tough questions about God. It's amazing to see how God speaks to each of us in different ways, yet His nature and character are always true.
We had an amazing school field trip to the palace of Versailles, and also a fun picnic in front of the Eiffel Tower this month as a whole base. So many fun parts of the city I continue to fall in love with. Evangelism here has become a joy as well. The city is filled with such a mix of cultures, and their hearts are really searching for something more in life. I've had great conversations with people, who when you simply ask if they need prayer, just burst into tears at the small kindness. Even the last week of April I got the privilege of leading a mother and daughter into accepting Jesus as lord, and what it means to be a daughter of a King. Powerful stuff is happening here in Paris!
A NEW YEAR:
Also on May 1st I had my 26th birthday, and I just want to say a big THANK YOU to everyone who sent me encouragement and love. I feel like 26 will be the best yet. I really did feel so blessed by everyone all day, and even though I've been home sick this month (with missing weddings and events especially), I know I'm right where I'm supposed to be.

Finances:
1. I need to have an income of $500+ a month, and right now I have around $300 coming in consistently. Praise God!
But I'm trusting for more monthly supporters, as well as more photography jobs that so I can earn money on the weekends when I'm not staffing the school!
2. The base has found a 3rd house! It's huge and just what we needed in order to host missionaries coming here for Paris Je T'aime! We need around $36,000 in finances for it ($12,000 for the initial down payment, $12,000 for the rest of the down payment & 1st month's rent, and $12,000 for renovations like showers, ventilation, and a kitchen).
Ministry:
1. Continue to pray for me as I keep staffing this school, that I will be able to lead these students in truth and provide growth in their lives, as well as teach them to be bold for Christ in this city.
2. Evangelism times for us are every Wednesday and we are praying for the lost to be saved and Jesus to be made known! Pray that I will be bold in sharing Jesus, and sensitive to hear His voice.
3. Paris Je T'aime (Paris I love you) is a huge outreach coming this summer (click here for info: http://www.ywampariscentral.com/paris-je-taime/ ) It is a chance to minister in mass to this city and so far we have around 7 teams ready to come here and evangelize for 2 weeks! If you or your church are interested in coming on a missions trip here to do outreach in Paris, please check out the link! Please continue to lift this mission up in your prayers as well.
4. A new DTS will be starting in July! This was a new word from the Lord just recently, but it's clear that God wants us to start a Frontline DTS! This will have a focus on reaching those who have never heard of Jesus. So a lot of outreach will be in the Middle East and Asia. Right in the 10/40 window! It's exciting but also a LOT of work to get a whole DTS prepared in only 2 months. So Leah (the base leader who will be running it) needs prayer, as well as we need students!
