French School is Here!

A Season of Learning!


Thank you to everyone who donated so I would be able to participate

in this French school! What a miracle!!

I started in the school September 27th,

& already feel so much improvement!

Here's a quick update on how it's going and my next plans!


- "L'ecole de Français" -

Where: Provence, France @ the YWAM base! (pictured below)

With Who: 10 students from America, Canada, New Zealand, and the Netherlands!

Duration: Sept 27 - Dec. 18th

- The Lecture Phase (the 1st month) -

For the first month, we've been in French lectures every morning for 2 hours, and in the afternoons, we join in different language learning activities. Like, discussion groups with native French speakers, cultural French workshops & outings, and as well, going to a local French church every weekend and doing evangelism every other weekend.

It was a great month for me growing in the fundementals of the language and I even passed a real B2 French examine (which is around a high intermediate level of the language). This is above the level of French I would need if I ever wanted to apply for a 10 year visa here in France! And I still feel like I'm improving!

I've also really loved getting to know my fellow students, hear their stories, and we try to only speak French together from 9am-5pm every day! It's challenging but so good!





- Immerson Phase (2 months) -

Now I am into the last 2 months of the school's full Immersion Phase!

In these weeks, I'll be doing something different each week to immerse me in both the French language and culture, but also ministry. For example, I interned for 5 days last week at a Christian book store in a nearby city! It was great getting to serve the ministry and work they do, but also getting to speak French every day and get to know the workers there. We even got invited over to one of their homes for dinner!

Other weeks, I'll be sometimes staying with French families around the region, and just living daily life with them. Then other weeks, I'll go and serve in different ministries at schools or churches, or sometimes other mission bases too! We even plan to go to a larger city and distribute bibles in December!

This is a really challenging part of the learning process,

and often my brain feels so tired after a day of fumbling over my words,

but I do feel like I'm progressing!

It's a humbling thing to talk with the vocabulary of an 6 year old every day (haha), but I know it's improving me every day.

Please pray for me as I continue to learn.


Help Support Me: In Prayer & Finances


Prayer Requests:

  • Grace to Learn - Learning French is a very big challenge for me and I'm definitely feel exhausted by it, but it's exciting too! I know that God wants to continue to use me in missions to the French speaking nations, and this is an important process! So please pray for grace over me to learn and retain the language during this school.


  • Healing - My back is still giving me problems and frequent pain, but I know God has answers and help available. Please pray that I would have strength to keep persevering in this healing process.

  • Finances - I'm really wanting to attend a close friend of mine's wedding this December. She's been someone who's been around with me since I joined YWAM Paris in 2018!

So I'm trusting for $350 to help cover costs so I can travel to her wedding in Spain after the french school ends! Also trusting for $200 to help cover Christmas gifts for my friends and family. It's that time of year again & I'm really want to be able to bless others in this season where I'm able. - - - - - I can never say enough how grateful I am for you,

my support system, back home.

Your prayers and gifts are what make it possible for me to stay keep on volunteering in this mission God's given me.

Other Things I'm Trusting for:

  • Moped License / Insurance - The finances to buy my scooter are in! Now I'm just trusting for my French driver's license to finish being processed (it's been accepted, but the paperwork is hitting a lot of blockages). So please be praying for that! I'll also need finances for insurance to cover my moped for damages, theft, & accidents. I'm trusting for a few supporters to help me! Full coverage will cost around $90/month

  • Monthly Financial Partners - I'm still trusting for about $400 more a month to help cover my daily expenses and ministry. I'm inviting people to join my team and partner with me monthly. Please pray about joining my team and funding my ministry here in YWAM.

  • More Photoshoots - if you know any friends or family traveling to Europe, please refer me to anyone and everyone!
