I blinked & it's 6 months later

It still feels like yesterday when God was first telling me to do the Medical DTS in Australia, and I was stubbornly saying "Absolutely not!". That was over a year ago, and on June 24th I hopped on a plane to Australia and took a huge leap of faith with Jesus. I was terrified that day, but I don't regret a single second!
I spent three months in Perth, Australia where God challenged me in multiple ways, causing me to grow in my spirit, soul, and body. He really re-solidified my foundation and showed me my identity in Him in a brand new light.
Then myself and team of 12 went to Manila in the Philippines for 11 weeks and He challenged me all over again. Before Manila, I thought I had a lot of missionary experience, but this trip was something different entirely. The first night, I couldn't help but think "What on earth did I just do?" Sleeping on the floor, fighting off cockroaches, continuously feeling sweaty and filthy, I wasn't sure I could even last three months. God knew though, and He walked me through each day, teaching me to trust and rely on Him more than ever before. Every morning He would have me read John 15.
"4 Abide in Me, and I in you.
As the branch cannot bear fruit of itself unless it abides in the vine,
so neither can you unless you abide in Me.
5 I am the vine, you are the branches;
he who abides in Me and I in him,
he bears much fruit, for apart from Me you can do nothing."
As I learned to abide in Him in every moment of my day, I began to see incredible things. He opened doors for our team to do things I never would have expected. We were able to do almost 10 clinics and give free health care and medicine to those in need, as well as share the gospel and pray for the sick. We were invited into a children's hospital to pray and preach to patients, and even put on a little nativity play for the kids. We went to huge schools, where we were able to preach freely about Jesus, plus teach about topics like nutrition and dental hygiene to all the kids. We even got to give fluoride treatments for teeth to around 1,300 kids between the ages of 6-12, and prayed for them after each treatment.
From prisons, to churches, to rivers, and parks, God took us all over the city. I got the privilege of praying for people and seeing them regain their vision and hearing, be freed from anxiety and depression, and even chronic pain instantly before my eyes. I saw God touch hearts and transform mass groups like 700 kids in an assembly we led, to that individual who talked with me for an hour in a cafe before making the decision to follow Jesus for herself and give her life to Him.
It was an amazing, challenging, and wild ride. I feel so honored to have been able to go, and thankful for the wonderful people I got to meet and adventures I got to go on with my King. Best of all, I know that this is just the beginning, and the best is yet to come.
Here are some of the statistics recorded from my team:
In 77 days...
over 2,639 people heard the gospel
over 1,865 prayed the salvation prayer
over 3,406 were personally prayed for
& over 83 people were instantly healed of a physical ailment!
God is amazing!
Here's a video I put together from my personal pictures and videos from outreach!
