My 1st Month in France

Bonjour friends!
It has almost been 1 month since I left home and moved into the new base of YWAM Paris Central here in France. What a crazy month it's been...
After 3 days of flight delays, thanks to winter storm Riley, I finally made it to Paris and joined in with an already buzzing team of 22 staff. They welcomed me well, and quickly helped me to feel at home in this new environment as I adjusted to jet-lag and language barriers. A discipleship training school that started in January was in the middle of their lectures and preparations to go on their own outreaches as well.
A typical week includes base worship on Mondays & Fridays, base prayer on Tuesdays & Thursdays, and evangelism every Wednesday in the city. We eat all our meals together as a family, and in between meal times while the students are in lectures studying topics like Spiritual Warfare, Evangelism, Father Heart of God, and Lordship. The staff are all at the base busy keeping the place running and moving forward.
I have been working here at the base with the hospitality team, and helping to set up events, take care of guests that visit, prepare/plan base events, and prep for the music school approaching. A lot is happening! Not to mention, the week I arrived, the focus was to pray and worship intensely to battle for some mountains the base was facing.
First, the music school that's to start April 8th, is believing for more students to come.
Second, March 31st, the current location of the base will have to move and find a new home, because the rent time ends. So March was a hunt to find a new home for staff and students both.
So it's definitely been a lot to dive into, but also exciting to be here on the ground floor of something big that God and this team are pioneering! God is definitely moving! On March 7th, we saw the student's remaining outreach funds of around $16,000 come in all in ONE day! Praise the Lord!
Then a few days ago, we found favor with a house owner and were able to sign a 3-year contract on a home! Woo! This is a miracle to find a place this big for this long term of a contract. God is definitely with us. So once the students left for their outreaches across Europe, the last week of March has been filled with cleaning and packing. The remaining 17 of us here at the base have been hard at work!
Please keep us in your prayers over the next few weeks as we continue to keep trusting for the finances the base needs, for a smooth move and transition into the new base, for the Music school & students that start here on April 8th, and for my own personal finances to keep being covered.
Comment, or message me on here or via email if you have any questions about what I'm doing here or want to help me financially!
I appreciate all the encouragement and prayers from everyone! Thank you!
Sincerely,
Emily Mintz
