My next step...

If you would have told me a year ago that I would be volunteering for full-time missionary work in Paris, I would have told you that's impossible! We all know though, that with God, nothing is impossible. So now here I am, preparing to take a GIANT leap of Faith and follow my King into another nation!

I still don’t know all of the details, or why God has picked Paris of all places, or even how I’ll be able to pay for any of it. The only thing I do know, is that when God asks us to do things, it’s always for a good reason, and that we can trust Him as we step into it.

The Plan so far:

As of right now, I will be joining the Youth With A Mission (YWAM) Paris-Central base on March 1st in Paris, and volunteering full-time on staff with around 20 other young adults. Most likely I will be serving with them and doing more missionary trips through them for the next 2 years.

They are a brand new base that started October 2017, and I believe God is asking me to help join them in their pioneering.

As a YWAM base, we will be hosting a Music Discipleship Training School (DTS) April 8th to September 22nd, 2018. This will include me helping to lead bible courses with the students for 3 of those months, and then 3 months of missionary outreaches to areas of need in countries all around the world to share the love of God.

The hope is to soon run a Medical DTS (like the one I went to last year in Perth, Australia) in the fall, that can focus on sharing God through simple medical care (my specialty!). I will most likely be helping with that as well and details about that will become clearer once I go, but for now, I know there's a lot to be done! The base is brand new and it'll be all hands on deck!

I really want to follow God’s plan for my life, and right now, His plan is Paris. I know somehow He is going to use me as not just a nurse there, but in many other ways as well. Sharing Him with a lost world is the ultimate adventure.

How to partner with me:

It's a full time volunteer job, so I won't have any income, aside from some savings I've acquired over the years, and some money I'll try to make through my artwork and photography. But God is faithful to provide when we obey the tasks He gives us!

If you would like to help support me on this journey, I would be so thankful. Whether it's with money, prayers, or encouragement, I appreciate all the support I can get. You can even mail me letters or encouragement to my future address (to be announced). 

All funds given will go straight into a separate account strictly for my missions and basic living expenses.
