2019 has kicked off with an epic January quarter here at YWAM Paris Connect!

Can you believe that March 5th will mean I've been here in Europe, volunteering here at YWAM for a whole YEAR!?! It blows my mind.

Two years ago, if you would have told me this is where I'd be today, I would have laughed so hard at how ridiculous that would be. But God's ways are so much higher and BETTER than our own. He is SO good.

I am exactly where I need to be.

So What's Happening?

36 students have come to join our base for these 3 months as they dive into the Backpack Europe Discipleship Training School. This is the biggest school we've run so far as a base, and we are swamped (in the best way possible)! It's all hands on deck to make this many people and moving parts run smoothly.

I am still running the Media Ministry on base, making sure our website, youtube, instagram, and facebook pages are all continuously updated, bilingual, and beautiful! It's a lot of work, but I'm really enjoying the challenge of stretching myself creatively. I even get to mentor a student who's assigned to help me in media a few hours every day. It's cool to be able to disciple someone in the midst of my work. That, to me, is really one of the best parts of YWAM.

My Other Daily Responsibilities Include...

Leading Prayer:

Leading a prayer group every Tuesday & Thursdays to pray for the topics God has on His heart. Lately, a lot of the focus in our prayer times have been the city of Paris itself. It's really cool to hear God's heart for this amazing city and people.

Prayer and Worship on the steps at Sacre Coeur

We also pray at one of the highest points of the city for Sunrise Prayer every Tuesday. At the Sacre Coeur (Sacred Heart) church. In the front of the church is a statue of Jesus with His arms outstretched, overlooking the city of Paris. We love that His eyes are on this city and His plans are big. We really believe revival is coming to this city and that God is doing BIG things here in Paris!

Evangelism:

Homeless Evangelism every Wednesday is another ministry I've been a part of this quarter and I LOVE it!

Paris has an estimated 140,000 people living on the streets, including 30,000 children... it is tragic, and the fact that I get to devote every Wednesday afternoon to even help a few of these souls is amazing.

We often pass out food, bibles, gospel tracts, medical supplies, and even hot drinks. We try always to offer prayer and any support we can. One week some of the students were able to bring some milk and food to a family of 5 living in one of the metro stations. Jesus sees each one of these individuals and calls us to love our neighbours as ourselves.

I love His heart for us!

More Discipleship Training Schools (DTS):

I daily am helping in Preparing April's Music DTS school as well, communicating with students and inquiries, helping people with their visa processes, travel dates, prayer requests, and more. So far we have 15 students in the process of trying to come, and we are trusting for a solid 20 students! So please being praying for them and that those who God is calling here will have favor, finances, and hear cleary the call of God.

What's Next?

I Get to Come Home for a Month!!!!

First up, my French Visa expires March 1st, so I have to leave the European Union for a few days in order to stay in France until May. This will automatically transfer me onto a normal Tourist Visa and give me an extra 90 days in the country. My good friend in Israel has graciously offered me to visit her during this time, and I'm excited to finally visit such a country of history and faith! My father's side is Jewish so I am so thrilled to get to see some of my heritage. Please pray for safety over me during this mini trip, and that flights and travels all go well.

Then May 15th I plan to fly back to America!!!

I have to fly to Chicago first to apply for my new French Visa,

but then I will be in St. Louis May 16th to June 19th!

I am THRILLED that I get to see all of my friends and family again. I have missed my home a lot, and it will be over a year then that I'll have been away from it. So please, if you want to see me, hear testimonies and what I've been doing here in Europe, or just to say hi.

Message me! I would love to plan some coffee dates, and maybe even a Testimony Night somewhere to really connect with you all.

I am also open to booking Photography sessions (by donation) to raise money for my ministry! I do singles, portraits, families, maternity, school photos, and more! Just message me for info.

I will be selling some of my Artwork too, so please consider taking a look at my work an ordering one of my prints!

Help Support Me

in Prayer or Finances

Please pray and see if you would like to support this trip home and help me buy my flights to make this trip possible, as well as the finances I'll need for the new Visa.

I will be needing a total of $1,370:

- $1,220 for flights

- $150 for a new visa

I'm also still trusting for $120 more of monthly support to cover my basic fees to keep living in France.

Ways to Give:

2. Venmo App: @emintz92

3. Sign up for Auto Withdrawal for monthly support (email me for details)

4. Checks can be mailed/made out to:
