'Montreux Jazz Festival' in Switzerland

It has been one wild month. On July 1st, the entire Music DTS and I went to Montreux, Switzerland to participate in the famous annual Jazz Festival. Such a beautiful city, and it was packed full with people from all over the world for the festival. We were joined with several teams who all came together to put on a 2 hour show and evangelize through music, dramas, dances, art, and more! We even had a world champion unicyclist with us!

Our schedule was packed tight every day. We would do different evangelism streams in the afternoons, like passing out bibles, one on one evangelism throughout the festival, a kids ministry where they did face painting and games, and a hospitality stream where they handed out free drinks and snacks to people. All of these were tools we used to love on people and share Jesus throughout the day. I personally helped a lot with the Bible distribution!

Then each evening we had a stage where we would put on a huge show. My school had 3 bands, two of which I played in. I preformed almost every night, singing, playing the keys, and the bass, and in between sets we would share testimonies and the gospel from the stage. 

Then as other teams preformed we would talk to the crowds. I had some amazing conversations with people. I saw people get saved and even got to pray for a man's injured arm and he saw complete healing! God really moved in Switzerland those two week!

'Paris Je T'aime' in Paris, France

The last 2 weeks of July, we drove our team back to Paris to host our own similar production called Paris Je T'aime! Again, teams were coming from all over the world to help us evangelize the city through a show each night, except this time, our base was hosting it! This was a huge task for our brand new base and around 130 people came to join us. Even more crazy was we had permission from the city to do our performances in the huge square of Republique for 1 week, and then at Trocedero right in front of the Eiffel Tower for the 2nd! These are two huge public spots, where thousands of people go through every day. God gave us massive favor!

Just like in Switzerland, we did teachings and base worship in the mornings, and then different ministry streams in the afternoons, followed by the main 2 hour show in the evenings. I lead the kids and family ministry each day, and we went into the city and did free face paintings, balloons animals, crafts, and games for families! It was great. It felt like a mini JUMP! 

Preforming and playing music in front of the Eiffel Tower was definitely a highlight for my life. I would have never imagined doing anything like that before, but God is great and has been opening new doors for me in areas I have never even thought of! I really getting to combine my love for music and Jesus, and share that with such beautiful cities like Montreux and Paris. People are open and ready for good news.

Phase 2 of Outreach

Albania, Montenegro, & Kosovo

Now it's off to Albania, Montenegro, and Kosovo for 7 weeks! There I will be leading a team of 7 (plus 2 kids) the rest of outreach. I'm excited to see what God will do in these amazing countries and just ask that you would pray for my team and I. These are Muslim nations, where Jesus is still a touchy subject, but I know God's heart for these people is huge, and he wants his kids to come back home to Him. 

Thank you again to everyone who gave to help me to be on this outreach. All of this fruit is yours too. Because of you, people are being saved and touched by God! So thank you! I'm excited for more.
