It's been a season of change.

Some things ending and others beginning new.

Keep reading to hear a brief update on the MRI results for my back,

some of our ministry updates,

and new things on the horizon for me!

- Our Ministry -

Even in the midst of the pandemic, we've been able to continue our discipleship training schools and run short term outreaches throughout France!

We had an outreach team successfully spend 3 weeks hiking 300km (186mi) on the El Camino trail in Spain!

People go to this trail SEEKING. They're often on a journey of self discovery, and it is an amazing place to encounter people and see Jesus move.

The team met many amazing people, walked with them, prayed for their hiking injuries and saw God heal them, and got to uplift them and share His love!

Here a just a few of the statistics from the trip:

- Our Schools -

We currently have around a 13 students here for the Backpack Unreached & Music DTS's. They're in their 10th week of biblical lectures, and will be leaving on a 3 month outreach this month!

They will be in 2 teams and go to nations like Albania, Montenegro, Egypt, and Nepal.

Please be praying for them as they travel, serve in local ministries and churches, and evangelise as God leads.

I will also be pausing my ministry leading our Media team here and take a turn staffing our Medical/Sports DTS that starts October 4th!! We currently have around 7 students and are trusting for more.

I'm excited to walk along side these students as they grow in God and learn more of who He is and their own identity.

- My MRI Results -

I finally got a specialist to take a look at my MRI results and help me understand what's going on and why I've been having constant pain over the past year.

My doctor explained that I do indeed have a degenerated disc in below my L5, which means there's no cushion between those two vertebrae. Which is where most of my pain is. She also showed me that I actually have around between 3-4 different spots further up the lumbar and thoracic that have herniated discs. This means discs have basically slid out of place. These are more minor, but there are adding to my lack of mobility. She said there's also a curve in my lower spine that she believes is a positive sign of Scheuermann's disease (a genetic malformation that develops in childhood).

All this to say, I'm still in a lot of pain. Since doing physical therapy, it has definitely improved and is not as constant. Sometimes all this is a bit overwhelming and scary, but then I remember how faithful my God has been throughout this whole journey and am so comforted. I'm still in faith that I will see victory over this battle!

I'm continuing to do my physical therapy exercises at home, I'm working on losing weight to relieve as much pressure naturally off my spine as I can, and I also am seeing a chiropractor periodically.

If the pain does not continue to improve over the next months, my doctor has prescribed me a Steroidal Shot as the next step.

I do not want this option, but I'm open to it if it becomes necessary.

So please continue to pray for me for healing, discernment of steps, and also the finances to continue to pay for these therapy sessions.
